I looked out the window and decided
it would be a good time to take pictures. The sky wasn’t as fantastic as I had
sometimes found it to be, but I wanted to show you what I often like to do. We
had had a fun-filled day of shopping and we had both just gotten into our comfy
clothes. Yours were pajamas but mine was one of the new outfits I got that day
that I just couldn’t wait to put on. I took a few pictures then showed you how
to hold it and a few of its functions. While you were capturing God’s glorious
grandeur, I spun and skipped about, incredibly enjoying the knit dress swishing
about my legs. When we tried to get some cool angle shots of the grass, we had
to lie on our stomachs and get in lots of other awkward positions. We laughed
as we righted ourselves when a car drove by. Then I shyly asked you to take
some pictures of me in my new clothes. I tried some different poses that we did
when we did our senior pictures. And then for fun, I spun around. I’ve always
loved spinning in dresses. Even though it wasn’t the gorgeous ball gown every
girl dreams about, I still loved it. We laughed at the pictures because many of
them were blurry, but you told me I looked pretty anyway. We had fun that night,
and I will always cherish that.
